Before the gates: four checks for your next Tiger Stadium visit
A short LSU home-game guide to tickets, bags, permitted water and re-entry.
Have the ticket ready before the crowd
Check the official LSU ticket guidance before leaving for the stadium. LSU requires a ticket for every attendee, regardless of age. Our advice: sort out admission for your entire group before reaching the gate.
Measure the bag, not the label
A bag advertised as stadium-friendly is not a guarantee of entry. Compare its dimensions and construction with the current LSU clear-bag policy, including the separate rules for small clutches. Prohibited items cannot be left at stadium entrances.
Check the water exception
The stadium policy permits one factory-sealed water bottle of 32 ounces or less and one empty beverage container. LSU also provides water-filling stations. Other containers have separate restrictions; review the official policy for medical needs before packing.
Finish your outside plans before entering
Tiger Stadium is a no re-entry venue: a scanned ticket cannot ordinarily be reused after you leave. Our advice: meet your group and finish outside errands first. Check official guidance again near game day because event arrangements can change.
